A Strike Is Not the Same as a Headline
By Mae Lin · Strike editor · 21 Aug 2026
Calendars fill a feed. A strike fills a book. Coin Report Daily files the print that held, not the announcement that shouted.
Two kinds of noise
A headline can land without a print. A print can land without a headline. This circular treats those as different objects.
The strike book asks a smaller set of questions. Did the last sale hold. Did the next bid stay. Did the roll still move after the announcement left the screen.
Mae Lin files the strike note first and the calendar second. That order is the whole method.
What we do not file
We do not sell tokens. We do not run a venue. We do not dress a rumor as a print.
If a market still has a bid, that is a strike. If it does not, that is also a strike. Both belong in the circular. Only one of them belongs at the top.
